Walter accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of his life as a young adult in 1988. He met his wife, Lori, at Black Hills State College in Spearfish, SD and they have been married for 44 years. They have two sons and two daughters, and three grandchildren. Walter recently retired after 38 years of working in a coal mine south of Gillette, where he held the position of lead blaster for the past 10 years.
Walter enjoys helping others and spending time with his family. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, rock hunting, carpentry, and gardening. Walter enjoys helping others and spending time with his family.
Anyone who knows Walter knows he loves Jesus and the Church more than anything. Many have experienced Walter's acts of service over the years and know of his genuine love of people. Walter has served in various capacities including teacher, deacon, shepherd, and the leadership team.
