Wes Gudahl

Wes has often said, “After high school I didn’t want anyone to tell me what to do so I enlisted in the United States Air Force”. Those years taught Wes how to ‘adult’ and following his service he went to Platte Valley Bible College where his greatest achievement was talking the prettiest girl at the college into marrying him! Ivette and Wes have four adult daughters who love Jesus and are actively involved in their churches. Wes and Ivette are also blessed with four grandchildren. 

Wes is determined to always serve King Jesus. He has focused on this passion and it’s lead to many adventures:  Minister, Preacher, Shepherd, Deacon, Church Camp Dean, Church Camp Manager, Mission Trip Coordinator, Bible College Outreach Coordinator, and Bible College Board of Directors are a few of the ministry hats he has and continues to wear.  

Professionally, Wes has served as a First Responder Chaplain, Firefighter, Law Enforcement Victim Advocate Coordinator, Emergency Manager, Victim Advocate Trainer, Supervisory State Park Ranger, Police Officer, Hostage Negotiator, and Senior Detective. Wes was a minister for many years before beginning a career in Law Enforcement ultimately retiring as a detective.

Wes enjoys, 4wheeling, camping, hunting, reading, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Wes and Ivette are not only members of the Christian Church of Gillette, but Wes serves as the Leadership Minister and a Co-Shepherd.  Wes continually strives to see King Jesus and His Kingdom honored and is excited to watch people spiritually grow and thrive in their ministries for the King!
